Help - Return Policy
When you send us EUI's (Electronic Unit Injector)
to us for testing, we will provide you with a test report. This report is
generated by our test bench, and we acknowledge that it is not the easiest to
understand. Hopefully the information given here will help you in
understanding this report. A sample PDF report can be viewed
here (opens in a new
window). We will use the following excerpt from this report.
This particular injector failed due to the fact that the fuel flows were too
high at both the 500 RPM and the 1000 RPM check points. All reports will
indicate any errors/problems in red. If we fax a report, obviously the
colours will not be visible. In this situation, we would circle all values
in red.
Each injector on the report will have 5 columns plus a graph:
Column 1: This column contains the colour key for the
pressure/time graph. The 500 RPM graph is green,
the 800 RPM graph is in red, while the 1000 RPM
graph is in blue.
Column 2: This column is the speed at which this test was run.
Please note that this is injector (or camshaft) speed which would be
½ of actual engine speed.
Column 3: This column is the PIP (Peak injection
Pressure) of the injector at the given RPM. If PIP was too low (or too
high) it would be in red. This is a valid
reason for injector failure. Unfortunately, the report does not
provide the required specification for this test.
Column 4: This column provides the measured
fuel delivery in CC's per minuet for the given RPM. If this fuel
delivery was not within the range the values will be in
red.
Column 5: This is the nominal or the
specification of the fuel flow. There will be an allowed plus/minus
range which will depend on the part number of the injector being tested.
Graph: The graph shows injection pressure in
Bar on the vertical axis versus time in milliseconds on the horizontal
access. During our test procedure we compare this graph to a good
graph, but the report does not convey this information. Normally a
failed pressure vs time graph will also show up with failed values in the
other columns.
Other areas of the report may include notes (that we
added) prior to printing. Additional information on the subject of testing
EUI's is available here.
Going, going, gone ... our extra
test benches have all been sold! We still have some
special tools and adaptors available at final reduced prices. See the details

Custom designed add on filter kits for both Dodge and Duramax applications. The factory filters on these
applications are lacking at best, and this is both the best and
easiest way to avoid costly injection system repairs.
