lists for help in determining the correct part number.
Stanadyne
GM DB2 Pump
The part number is located on a small metal tag on the drivers side
of the pump as it is installed on the engine. The part number
begins with a 'DB2' and ends with the 4 digit model number. Adding
these values together such as DB2-5088 will provide our part number.
The 4 digit model number usually begins with a '4' or '5'. An
example of a complete model number is DB2831-5088. Our GM
application list is located
here.
Stanadyne
Ford DB2 Pump

side of the pump as it is installed on the engine. The part number
begins with a 'DB2' and ends with the 4 digit model number. Adding
these values together such as DB2-5069 will provide our part number.
The 4 digit model number usually begins with a '4' or '5'. An
example of a complete model number is DB2831-5069. Our Ford
application list is located
here.
Stanadyne
GM DS Pump
The part number is located on a small metal tag on the firewall end
of the pump as it is installed on the engine. Due to the intake
manifold, it is almost impossible to read any part numbers with the pump
still installed on the engine. The only time the part number for
this application is important is for the 1994 model year. In 1994
there were 2 different pumps, the odd one out have a model number of
DS4831-5068. Our part number for this pump is S5068. For all
other applications, you should be able to use our
application list. Our part number is the last 4 digits of the
model number with an 'S' prefix. Current available pumps include
S5068, S5459 and S5521
Bosch
VE Pump (VW / Cummins / Dodge)
It can be very difficult to retrieve part number information from
many Bosch VE pumps. It is stamped into the side of aluminum
housing, near where the housing meets the head and rotor. There is
normally a 10 digit Bosch part number that begins with 0 460 4 ...
On later model VW engines the method used to stamp this number was
lacking at best, and in many cases it simply can't be retrieved without
first removing the pump from the engine.
Bosch
P7100 Pump (Dodge / Cummins)
Part number information for these pumps is located on a small tag
attached to the side of the pump. This tag in addition to a model
number and serial number, should also have a 10 digit Bosch part number.
This number begins with 0 402 736 ... It should also be
possible to determine the correct pump using our
application list.
Bosch
VP44 Pump (Cummins / Dodge)
It can be very
difficult to retrieve part number information from many Bosch VE pumps.
It is stamped into the side of aluminum housing, near where the housing
meets the head and rotor. There is normally a 10 digit Bosch part
number that begins with 0 470 506 ... Part number information ma
also be available from the top of the electronic module bolted to the
pump. Usually this will include either a Cummins part number, or a
Bosch reman number. We can normally provide the correct pump using
this information. It is also possible to determine the correct
pump using our
application list.
Cummins PTG PTG/AFC Pump
These pumps have a small metal tag located on the top of the pump
right where the main housing meets the governor housing. The most
common stamping number includes the CPL (Control Parts List) number,
followed by the fuel code at the beginning of the first line of data on
this tag. This is the information we will need to be able to
provide the correct pump. Due to variations in stamping numbers
this method does NOT always work. If in doubt,
contact us with ALL the information from the
tag.
Cummins Celect Pump
The Cummins Celect pumps have a small metal tag located on the side
of the pump, close to the drive end of the pump. What we are
looking for is a Cummins part number. It can be difficult to
determine what numbers are what, since not all tags were stamped in a
consistent manner. Cummins part numbers for these pumps normally
begin with a '3' or a '4' and are 7 digits long. In some cases
they may have an additional 'X' or 'PX' suffix on these part numbers. If in doubt,
contact us with ALL the information from the
tag.
