Help - Searching this SiteThere are four
ways to search for information on this site, as there are several databases, as well
as the site itself. Both the "Site Search" and the "Product Search" are
available from the small menu bar at the top of each page. The "FAQ
Search" is available from within the FAQ page that is accessed using the 'FAQ'
option in the menu on the left. A fourth search allows searching within a
specific page.
These searches are all searching differently stored information:
Site Search: This option searches all the pages in this site.
This search does not search within any of the databases.
Product
Search: This option searches only the product database. This
also includes some part number and application data. If you can't find
a product that you are looking for, try a "Site Search" to see if one of our
"Application" pages contains the information you require for a given
product.
FAQ
Search: This option searches only the FAQ database. This
includes both questions and answers. Some of the FAQ's may also
reference other pages in this site, but the FAQ Search does not include
those pages.
Page Specific Search:
This search is only available for a few specific pages. It is used on
some of the application lists, and allows you to search only the current
page for information. A good example are the Cummins injector
application lists. These lists contain so many numbers, that finding a
single CPL number would be difficult. The page specific search makes
this very easy.
